Special Events
By group reservation (10 - 30 guests), we host Victorian
luncheon teatimes and dessert teatimes. Celebrate your special occasion with a
Bridal or Baby Shower, Holiday or Birthday Teatime. Red Hat Ladies Welcome!

Enjoy an afternoon together with a little dress-up time and a dessert tea in historic downtown Algonquin. Start your fun time at my Secret Garden to dress up and have your picture taken. Then stroll on over to Victorian Rose Garden Bed and Breakfast for some “dainties” and teatime.
$30 per couple ($15 each additional guest)
Children’s Manners Class
Wednesday, July 9, 2008 1:00 to 2:30pm
Come and learn the “secret” to good manners while enjoying tea and dessert. Topics include introductions and handshakes, how to RSVP, being on time, table manners, setting the table, respect for others, and thank you notes. This class is suitable for both boys and girls, ages 6-11.
$12 per child
Friendship Tea
Saturday, July 12, 2008 1:00 to 2:30pm
Steal away from the busyness of the summer and spend some quiet time with your friends. Enjoy delicious dessert teatime in a Victorian setting, followed by a tour of the 1886 folk Victorian home. Wear your favorite hat and bring a story about friends to share with those at your table.
$14 per person
We also teach children's etiquette lesson by groups, appropriate for scouts and
homeschoolers, ages 5-12, both boys and girls. Please request our Teatime brochure.
